Telechron Model 8B07 "Baron"

The Telechron model 8B07 was known as the "Baron", and was introduced in 1936.  The version shown here has a black Bakelite case, and a brown Bakelite base.  The chrome face had painted trim which matched the base.  It was also available with an all brown case and brass trim, or a white Plaskon case with a brown base, and chrome trim.  Like its cousin, the GE "New Executive", it was designed by Walter Dorwin Teague, one of the premier industrial designers of the Streamline Age.

Design patent D103,748 was issued on March 23, 1937 for this clock.
