Telechron 7H89 "The Guest"

The Telechron 7H89 clock was sold from 1939 to 1942, and was known as "The Guest".  The case was maple, with an overlay of imitation pigskin which they called "Textileather".  The clock incorporated several standard deco themes, and was designed by Robert Goulet (not the singer).  It was covered by design patent number D155,620 issued in 1939.  It is a fairly common clock, but the very thin covering was easily damaged and tended to peel off, so nice examples are not often seen.
