Monitor Mystery Clock

Monitor 5-A Clock

This unusual mystery clock is the model 5-A made by the Monitor Manufacturing Company in the late forties, and was called the "Seven League" clock.

The clock face consists of four glass disks.  The inner two bear the silk-screened images of the hour and minute hands, and have toothed metal rims.  They are rotated by a motor and gear train in the base.  The front glass has the numerals and logo screened on the inside.   The face is about 5 inches in diameter and it stands about 8 inches tall.
