New Haven Catalin Clock

This Catalin-cased clock was made by New Haven sometime in the 1930's.  It was a cheap, wind-up model, the styling is indifferent, and the color is not very exciting.  In fact, the only thing interesting about it is the "Genuine Catalin" marking on the back, which means that the case was made by the Catalin Corporation.  It was actually quite unusual for Catalin objects to be marked in this fashion, and it is also ironic that "genuine" Catalin was actually an imitation mineral.
