American D7TPR Dynamic Microphone
This beautiful American model D7TPR microphone was called the "Clipper".  It was made by the American Microphone Company of Pasadena, California, circa 1940.  It is a dynamic type, heavily chrome plated, and is equipped with the optional handle and push-to-talk switch.  It cost about $15.00 when new and was primarily intended for public address use.  The catalog excerpt below is from a 1940 Montgomery Ward radio catalog.
