| Above is a photograph of Paul Whiteman and several members of his band. This photo was possibly taken on Whiteman's 1926 European tour. The airplane is almost surely a German Junker G24 which was widely used by European airlines in the late 1920's and early 1930's. The name of a photographer with a Berlin address appears on the back, so it was probably taken in Germany. | ||
