Early Broadcasting Photographs-1920's

These photographs were scanned from a group of glass-plate magic lantern slides.  They show various radio performers in studio settings or at remote sites.  In most (all?) cases, they show Western Electric ring-mount carbon microphones such as were widely used in the late 1920's.  I have been able to identify several of the people seen here, including announcer Phillips Carlin and pioneer sportscaster Graham McNamee.

Sportscaster Graham McNamee (standing) and announcer Phillips Carlin broadcasting from Yankee Stadium.  I found a photograph identical to this one (except the two people have switched positions) in a radio book published in 1927.
