These
pictures were, most likely, taken somewhere in central Pennsylvania
circa 1937. The first photo shows a radio
transmitter/receiver as was used by the U.S. Forest Service. The
second photo shows the fire watch tower in which it was
located.
The radio is a USFS Type T, model CC, which operated in the 30-35 mHz band. |
