| The 1934 model X63
was made by the Pilot Radio Corporation of Long Island City, NY.
It is a beautifully sculpted, medium-sized tombstone radio that measures
about 18 inches high, 14 inches wide, and 10 inches deep. It is a
6-tube, 3-band design with an 8-inch speaker.
The dial design is quite unusual in that certain portions of the dial are illuminated according to which band is selected (see photos below). |
