| The 1939 Silvertone model 6107 radio is an absolute gem. It is a tiny set, with a wonderfully clean, sleek Art Deco design, and great color. It uses a four-tube chassis, which means generally poor performance, and the small speaker doesn't help. This is one of those sets that is more pleasing to look at than listen to. It was available in brown or black Bakelite with ivory knobs, and in several shades of Plaskon with contrasting knobs. This is a rare set in any color combination. | ||
