Radio Products Miniature AC Tube
This tube (the small one) was made by the Radio Products company of Newark, NJ in 1932.  It is an AC operated cathode type triode which is more or less equivalent to the standard type 27 tube shown above it.  It is a very small tube, only about 3 inches long, and 3/4 inches in diameter.  It is just a bit bigger than the Western Electric 215A "peanut" tube.

This tube, and a companion mercury-vapor rectifier of similar size, were used in a tiny cathedral style clock-radio that was made in very small numbers, and marketed only in northern New Jersey.  The tubes themselves are correspondingly rare.
