Air King Midget Radio |
This small, white Plaskon radio was made by the Air King Products, Co. of Brooklyn, NY circa 1940. The model number is unknown, but it may be a model 23-X. It is a poor-performing, cheap, four-tube design, but the chassis from this (and similar Air King sets) has become popular recently as a basis for "fantasy" Catalin radios using cabinets made originally for air ionizers. It was also used by Hamilton-Ross in their "Telatime" clock radio. |
